Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Location: New York, New York, United States; on-site at least four days per week

Salary: $216,500–$264,500 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead a Customer Experience application development team and execute a multi-year product vision with Product Management.
• Establish processes for system reliability, operational excellence, rapid experimentation, and data-informed decisions.
• Coach engineers, support professional growth, hire talent, and help define the engineering culture.
• Manage delivery of high-impact workflow, dashboard, and data visualization applications.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Data Science, User Research, and engineering leads to build an end-to-end mobility platform.
• Promote a customer-oriented mindset and bring strong product and technical ideas into production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of management experience and 10+ years of software development experience building customer-centric applications and products.
• Experience scaling and supporting teams of 10 or more people and developing senior individual contributors.
• Experience delivering initiatives with strategic business impact.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience in B2C and B2B customer solutions.
• Track record designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems and high-volume consumer-facing software products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly.
