Lead Workplace Experience Engineer - Power Platform (AI)

Location: Owings Mills, Maryland, United States; hybrid work with up to three days per week from home

Base salary: $110,000–$188,000 annually for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers. Other listed ranges are $121,000–$207,000 for Washington, D.C. and $138,000–$236,000 for New York and California.

What you will do

• Own the architecture, operational governance, and full lifecycle management of Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot services.
• Define environment, capacity, production readiness, change, release, and ALM strategies across development, test, and production tenants.
• Establish DLP, connector, access, information protection, and data exposure controls for Power Platform, Copilot, and agent-based solutions.
• Lead monitoring, telemetry, observability, consumption, capacity, and cost management to maintain reliable and sustainable services.
• Direct Level 3 incident response, root cause analysis, problem management, vulnerability response, and preventive actions.
• Partner with architecture, security, compliance, identity, data governance, Labs, PACE, and business technology teams to productionize governed AI solutions.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree, or equivalent experience, with 7+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure operations, platform engineering, or enterprise collaboration services.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform administration, including environment strategy, DLP policies, connectors, ALM, and Power Platform Admin Center at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on experience operationalizing Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio, including agent access governance, readiness, adoption support, and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, sensitivity labels, DLP, retention, identity, security, and cloud platform governance.
• Experience defining governance, access, security, and lifecycle controls for AI-enabled or agent-based solutions in a regulated enterprise environment.
• Ability to lead enterprise-scale programs, set standards across teams, investigate incidents, and mentor senior engineers and consultants.

Nice to have

• Experience operating Copilot Studio agents at enterprise scale, including inventories, usage tracking, risk reviews, and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with PACE-style delivery pipelines, managed solution promotion, and ALM for low-code and AI platforms.
• AI/ML governance experience, responsible AI frameworks, AI taxonomies, and financial services regulatory environments.
• Microsoft Purview, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform CLI, and cost management for Azure-connected services and AI APIs.
