Microsoft Sharepoint Engineer

Location: Remote/Home-Based in California; US-based candidates only

Salary: $144,000–$216,000 annual base pay, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, permissions, and platform standards.
• Build business solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio to eliminate manual processes.
• Design and develop migrations from file shares, Box, and other cloud environments to SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Administer Microsoft 365 accounts, licensing, access controls, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Purview.
• Implement security, information protection, sensitivity labels, compliance controls, and system health monitoring.
• Support users, train citizen developers, advise stakeholders, and oversee the managed service provider.

Requirements

• Proven experience administering Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and Purview compliance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
• Must be a US-based candidate working remotely from California.

Nice to have

• PowerShell scripting and PnP Framework experience.
• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or JSON list and library formatting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Microsoft 365, Teams Administrator, or Power Platform certifications.
