Senior Compensation Partner - Corporate Functions & M&A

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; based at hirify.global's global headquarters

Base pay: $116,000–$145,000 USD annually for California.

What you will do

• Partner with People & Culture and business leaders on hiring, promotions, organizational initiatives, and annual compensation programs.
• Manage global compensation architecture, including job design and salary structures.
• Conduct market research, quantitative analysis, data modeling, data mining, and compensation surveys.
• Develop communication and training for recruiters, HR professionals, and managers on compensation programs.
• Support total rewards strategy, compliance requirements, process improvements, and systems enhancements.
• Review compensation requests and present recommendations to leadership, internal leadership, the board, and investors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in compensation analysis and administration, plus a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 12+ years of total work experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience leading internal and external market analysis.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including building models and analyses.
• For U.S. office work, eligibility under U.S. Government ITAR export regulations is required, such as U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorization.
• The role is based in the Long Beach headquarters and may include work in production areas.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or Certified Compensation Professional certification.
• Experience with corporate functions, mergers and acquisitions, stock-based compensation, Radford surveys, or compensation tools such as Compa, Pave, and Open Code.
• Knowledge of compensation laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong project management, quantitative, consultative, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
