Sr. Manager, Global Payroll & HRIS

Location: US Remote

Annual base salary: $130,000–$160,000 USD, plus eligibility for annual bonus compensation.

What you will do

• Manage US payroll operations, including bi-weekly, off-cycle, incentive, severance, bonus, and COBRA-related payouts.
• Maintain compliance with US payroll tax regulations, quarterly and annual filings, W-2 preparation, unemployment claims, wage validation requests, and garnishments.
• Partner with Benefits, Finance, Accounting, HR Business Partners, Compensation, and Treasury on payroll processes and employee data.
• Oversee payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees, including hours worked and time card approvals.
• Maintain payroll compliance across EU markets, including the UK, Germany, Italy, and France under a PEO model, as well as Moldova, Serbia, and China.
• Lead HRIS data integrity, process flows, reporting, AI-enabled HR process scaling, and executive dashboards and analytics.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience, including senior leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading a major function or department.
• Deep expertise in US payroll tax regulations and compliance across applicable tax jurisdictions.
• Strong Excel skills and experience analyzing and troubleshooting large, complex payroll datasets.
• Strategic planning, long-range execution, and strong financial and operational management capabilities.
• Experience developing leaders and succession planning, with executive-level presentation and influence skills.
