Testing & Commissioning Southeast Regional Manager (Electrical Engineering)

Location: Alachua, Florida, United States; travel throughout the Southeast Region and work away from home for several weeks at a time are required.

Salary: USD $170,268.80–$200,865.60 per year, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Lead regional operational development for testing and commissioning services.
• Provide or oversee testing and commissioning support for technically complex utility and industrial projects.
• Supervise, mentor, develop, assign work to, and review the performance of 10–20 professional staff.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, equipment, and resources with regional managers to meet project and client requirements.
• Interface with clients, internal departments, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
• Support proposal development while meeting profitability, quality, safety, human performance, and customer service goals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience testing and commissioning electric utility equipment from low voltage through extra-high voltage.
• Experience with functional testing and commissioning of protective relays, protection and control systems, and associated equipment.
• Proven ability to schedule and manage personnel, equipment, financial resources, and shared services.
• Strong ability to read and understand electrical prints, diagrams, drawings, schematics, and statements of work.
• US citizenship or current US permanent resident status and a valid driver’s license in good standing are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, overtime, holidays, and nights; travel and lift test equipment weighing up to 50 pounds may be required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an electrician license.
• NETA III or IV certification.
• Professional Engineer license.
