Material Handler Lead (Lean Manufacturing)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite

Compensation: $23.90–$44.40 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate the movement of materials into, within, and out of manufacturing to maintain uninterrupted production flow.
• Operate area equipment, including forklifts and computer terminals.
• Coordinate employee training on standard work, quality requirements, and department procedures.
• Provide problem-solving support and communicate with support resources to resolve operational issues.
• Drive waste reduction, Kaizen events, 5S activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote safety compliance and support decision-making with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 1–3 years of production work experience preferred.
• Lead experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, and the Internet.
• Knowledge of material-flow processes, safety procedures, Lean manufacturing, and 5S.
• Reliable attendance, effective communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
