Senior Design Coordinator (Industrial Architecture)

Location: Pennington, New Jersey, or Columbus, Ohio, United States

Salary: $80,742–$115,345 annually in Pennington; $70,210–$100,300 annually in Columbus.

What you will do

• Evaluate, select, and apply architectural techniques, procedures, and modifications to construction documents.
• Perform architectural assignments independently with general direction from the Project Architect or Project Manager.
• Work with owners and clients to select and recommend procedures.
• Write architectural specifications and conduct code reviews.
• Support Project Architects, Architectural Project Coordinators, and Technicians across all phases of the architectural process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
• At least five years of professional or internship experience preparing details, specifications, and construction documents.
• Credentials to obtain future registration and a desire to pursue architectural registration.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
• Strong leadership, communication, relationship management, analytical, problem-solving, and graphic presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Experience with healthcare, educational, civic, science, or research facilities.
• Experience or interest in sustainable design and LEED.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, 3-D Studio Max, Rhino, or Grasshopper.
