Senior Architect (Hospitality)

Location: Chicago or Minneapolis, United States; four days in-office with flexibility to work elsewhere on Fridays.

Salary: $84,700–$144,430 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead project development, client relationships, and project implementation alongside the Project Manager and Project Designer.
• Oversee project documentation, quality assurance and control, practice standards, and protocol compliance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams in developing conceptual designs, technical strategies, and sustainable technical solutions.
• Align design intent with schedules, budgets, work plans, and profitability targets.
• Present design and technical solutions to clients and stakeholders while managing expectations.
• Mentor design teams and ensure timely delivery of high-quality project deliverables.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Architecture and professional licensure.
• At least 8 years of professional architecture experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience coordinating building design solutions.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and standard architecture software.
• Ability to lead sustainable design principles in technical plans and deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, professional organization participation, and involvement in marketing and business development.
