Line Lead (Packaging)

Location: Georgetown, Ontario, Canada; factory or warehouse setting

Compensation: $21 CAD per hour

What you will do

• Supervise and train general labour personnel assembling displays and packaging.
• Coordinate line workers, maintain communication, and ensure all materials are available.
• Operate and regularly maintain packaging equipment.
• Monitor and improve production efficiency while maintaining product quality.
• Reconcile feeder stock and components at the end of each shift and report discrepancies.
• Ensure food safety, quality, HACCP, GMP, and workplace safety requirements are followed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read production specifications and work with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, team-building ability, and integrity.
• Proficient English reading, writing, and speaking skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand, stoop, walk, and lift regularly.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with packaging equipment.
• One to two years of pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic packaging, or machine operating experience.
• Experience with WMS software, Microsoft Office, Windows, or SAP.
