Facilities Project Manager

Location: On-site in Rochester, New York, United States

Salary: $85,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage multiple facilities projects covering requirements evaluation, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, design oversight, construction management, and closeout.
• Support building renovations, capital infrastructure improvements, equipment installations, and site work for personnel and asset relocation or expansion.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, customers, architecture firms, engineering firms, and Facilities Maintenance and Operations teams.
• Provide construction management, architectural design, and code compliance support.
• Prepare bid sheets, project justification documents, statements of work, construction contracts, and cost estimates.
• Oversee construction and installation for compliance with drawings, specifications, cost targets, and schedules while driving process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field with 10–15 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 6–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience facilitating the design and execution of architectural, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Project management experience with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional project teams.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, NFPA, NEC, EPA, and local building codes.
• Experience with engineering blueprints, process specifications, building layouts, and Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, and estimating software.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
