What you will do

• Design HVAC, hydronic, steam, chilled water, process gas, laboratory ventilation, and control systems.
• Develop feasibility studies and deliver energy-efficiency and greenhouse-gas-reduction projects.
• Perform system modeling and oversee commissioning for critical infrastructure.
• Lead tenant improvements, relocations, infrastructure upgrades, and new construction from initiation through closeout.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, bidding, vendor selection, contracts, consultants, and delivery performance.
• Support facilities operations, equipment lifecycle management, maintenance strategies, and the development of mechanical engineering standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management, including critical infrastructure environments.
• Expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, central utility plants, building automation and controls, and related facility systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Trimble Construct or similar applications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, project management, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including IBC, NFPA, and OSHA.
