Technical Accounting Analyst I

What you will do

• Process and oversee assigned reinsurance accounting portfolios while meeting quality, turnaround-time, and KPI requirements.
• Perform account booking, technical verification, validation, exception handling, and escalations in line with contract wording and established guidelines.
• Settle balances with external clients and manage accounts receivable and portfolio financials in collaboration with the RLM Cash Team.
• Investigate accounting information, resolve data and payment issues, and identify root causes.
• Monitor automation rates, perform basic error resolution, and contribute to data quality and risk management activities.
• Report to supervisors and stakeholders while collaborating with internal and external clients and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or administration.
• Fluent or advanced English comprehension and use in written, spoken, and listening contexts.
• Experience or ability in business correspondence with internal and external clients by email and phone.
• Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with root-cause identification; strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in workflow technologies such as ACORD, B3i, and robotics, as well as MS Office applications.
• Ability to collaborate in virtual, international, global, and multicultural teams and navigate ambiguity.
