What you will do
- Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses against forecasts and prior periods.
- Review and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and finance procedures.
- Administer fixed and other asset reporting, including leading fixed asset verifications.
- Plan and complete internal control over financial reporting testing and reporting.
- Prepare tax filings and coordinate state and federal tax compliance activities with corporate finance.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, resolving discrepancies and supporting timely collections and payments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
- 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Strong PC and Excel skills, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
