TL;DR
Senior Cost Accounting Analyst (Cost Accounting/ERP): Managing cost accounting, inventory controls, standard cost roll-ups, financial reporting, and product costing analysis in a manufacturing operation with an accent on labor and overhead rates, inventory reconciliation, and MEXGAAP/USGAAP compliance. Focus on analyzing product margins, coordinating physical inventories and cycle counts, maintaining ERP/MRP data, and producing audit-ready reports.
Location: Guadalajara, Mexico; full-time onsite role

What you will do
- Administer ERP inventory systems and cost setups, including the annual standard cost roll-up.
- Maintain labor and overhead rates in MRP systems and review standard costs, margins, and product costing.
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and annual cost accounting, financial, inventory, sales, efficiency, and productivity reports.
- Reconcile inventory-related General Ledger accounts and review deferred variation, CAR2, E&O, forecast, and actual sales records.
- Coordinate annual physical inventory, monthly warehouse audit samples, and cycle-count reviews.
- Partner with Operations, Materials, Procurement, and Finance on costing, inventory accuracy, material-cost comparisons, compliance, and audit requests.
Requirements
- Degree in Public Accounting and/or Business Administration; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- At least 4–5 years of proven Cost Accounting experience is required.
- Experience with MEXGAAP and USGAAP, MRP/ERP systems, and preferably Oracle.
- Knowledge of C-TPAT and OEA standards, plus strong Microsoft Office, Excel, and reporting skills; experience with Power BI or Domo.
- Strong analytical, organizational, detail-orientation, initiative, decision-making, and follow-through skills.
- Fluent English, a driver’s license, and a current visa to travel to the USA are required.
