Accounting Staff (Payments)

What you will do

• Manage accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for multiple business entities.
• Perform balance sheet and subledger reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues.
• Maintain global intercompany accounting, including accurate transaction recording and eliminations.
• Deliver financial analysis and expense insights to support business decisions and performance improvement.
• Partner with teams to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and increase financial transparency.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails to support successful audit outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and up to two years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related environment.
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis techniques.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, credit card processing, or financial services.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or other enterprise accounting systems.
