Sr. Manager, Software Development - Zelle Growth/Brokerage (Java/AWS)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, with positions also located in Scottsdale, Chicago, or New York. Candidates must independently possess eligibility to work in the United States for any employer. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Base pay in San Francisco: $180,000–$240,000 USD per year. Phoenix and Chicago: $150,000–$200,000 USD per year. Discretionary incentive plan and benefits are also available.

What you will do

• Lead and manage two or more engineering teams responsible for product engineering components through production.
• Drive modernization, cloud transformation, application automation, and growth initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance on product design, engineering patterns, architecture, and implementation.
• Ensure delivery against budgets, schedules, work plans, service-level agreements, and performance requirements.
• Promote Agile and DevOps practices, automated testing, continuous delivery, and operational stability.
• Partner with product, architecture, business, and other internal leaders while supporting business continuity, disaster recovery, risk management, and data security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
• At least three years of experience managing full-stack development or development teams using Java, Spring, and AWS Cloud.
• Experience with system automation, scripting, Chef, Puppet or similar tools, cloud technologies, VMware, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of architecture and design concepts, operating systems, databases, computer networking, security, and open-source frameworks.
• Proven leadership experience managing DevOps teams and collaborating across a cross-functional organization.
• Ability to manage multiple deadline-driven priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency. Background and drug screen required.
