Associate Account Director (Marketing)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid, with office attendance an average of four days a week

Base salary: $75,000–$180,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Manage program development and execution for shopper marketing initiatives through retail partners.
• Build client relationships and provide strategic counsel based on business, category, and competitive insights.
• Develop marketing solutions, proposals, presentations, creative briefs, and client recommendations.
• Manage creative development from concept through production, reviewing copy, layouts, artwork, media plans, and production materials.
• Lead internal and client meetings, presentations, and communications while resolving client concerns.
• Manage project scopes, budgets, timelines, resources, and program optimization.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of advertising or marketing experience, with agency experience required.
• Shopper marketing and retail experience required, specifically with Walmart and/or Sam’s Club.
• Comprehensive knowledge of client categories, business objectives, and strategic business issues.
• Experience managing or mentoring individuals and providing constructive feedback.
• Strong leadership, client management, communication, presentation, organization, and process-management skills.
