Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Carlsbad, California, USA; office environment. Travel required: approximately 5–10%.

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 annually.

What you will do

• Own software engineering activities across requirements, design, implementation, testing, debugging, release, documentation, and process improvement.
• Assess software architecture, investigate issues, resolve technical escalations, and develop feasibility studies for new or modified designs.
• Lead task teams and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Visit and interface with customers to assess issues, resolve technical problems, and help define user and system requirements.
• Apply engineering techniques and judgment to adapt and modify software solutions.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science and 7–10 years of experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Expert knowledge of C#/.NET for applications in the Microsoft Windows desktop environment.
• Experience working with motion systems, hardware control, and hardware interfaces.
• Advanced mathematics knowledge, especially linear algebra.
• Ability to work in an office environment and travel approximately 5–10%.

Nice to have

• WPF experience.
• Knowledge of vision libraries, C++, and Python.
• Experience applying robotics and AI.
