Data Center Construction Senior Project Manager (Data Centers)

Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming; approximately 3–5 days per week onsite, subject to client needs.

Salary: $130,000–$185,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional compensation may include bonuses, 401(k) matching up to 8%, and benefits.

What you will do

• Independently manage the full scope of data center and other critical-environment construction projects.
• Lead and mentor project teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.
• Manage project risks, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.
• Act as an owner’s representative by resolving issues, managing conflicts, and guiding client decisions.
• Coordinate with clients, architects and engineers, contractors, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Manage invoicing and collections, identify add-services opportunities, and conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction project management experience and a thorough understanding of building design and construction processes.
• 2+ years of experience managing critical-environment construction projects such as data centers, laboratories, or hospitals.
• Experience with MEP in ground-up construction.
• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide local support and work onsite in Cheyenne approximately 3–5 days per week.
