Assistant Project Manager (Data Center Experience)

What you will do

• Support project management across preconstruction, procurement, contract administration, and closeout.
• Process subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, pay applications, and subcontractor billings.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, change management, and financial setup.
• Identify project risks, contract issues, and cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
• Coordinate continuously with design teams, owners, trade partners, vendors, and consultants.
• Supervise and mentor Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, and interns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant construction project or preconstruction experience.
• College degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of building construction and the ability to identify and solve project problems.
• Ability to work onsite in varying outdoor weather conditions, move around uneven job-site surfaces, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lb.
• Experience with construction technologies such as Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit is beneficial.
