Project Manager/Construction Manager (Datacenter)

Location: Chicago, Illinois; the description also references Joliet, Illinois. Full-time, on-site construction management role.

Salary: $116,930.89–$133,635.31 per year

What you will do

• Manage design and construction objectives within approved budgets and project requirements.
• Coordinate day-to-day field activities, information flow, costs, schedules, safety programs, and construction quality.
• Lead project development and delivery as the primary point of contact.
• Facilitate decisions, negotiations, change management, and solutions affecting scope and schedule.
• Participate in design, construction, progress, pre-construction, and pre-award meetings.
• Review contracts, bid packages, contractor performance, site logistics, inspections, and test data for compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, architecture, construction project management, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in commercial and industrial architecture and engineering, with a primary focus on datacenter design and construction.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment.
