Senior RF Hardware Engineer (RF)

Compensation: $160K–$220K per year plus equity

What you will do

• Design and own RF products across PCB, box, and system integration levels.
• Perform design trades, analyses, and requirements reviews for new RF systems.
• Bring up, troubleshoot, test, and qualify new hardware designs.
• Guide products from initial design through vehicle integration.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, FPGA, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to support production at scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing RF circuitry across frontend and conversion chains.
• End-to-end PCB design experience, including schematic capture, layout, fabrication, and assembly.
• Experience with Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, Altium Designer, and RF test instruments.
• Strong understanding of S-parameters, P1dB, noise figure, channel power, EVM, RF cascades, link budgets, and noise analysis.
• Experience with low-noise and power amplifiers, mixers, ADCs/DACs, phase-locked loops, oscillators, and filters.
• Must satisfy U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required U.S. authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience building complex PCBs in Altium Designer and selecting components for radiation-susceptible environments.
• Experience with AD9361, Xilinx RFSoC, and similar digital-analog conversion interfaces.
• Board soldering and rework experience with 0402 SMD components and QFN packages.
• Communications link modeling, DSP fundamentals, and antenna design, simulation, and measurement.
• Experience with high-PAPR signals and DPD concepts.
