Location: Onsite at 's global headquarters in Long Beach, California, United States. U.S. citizenship is required for the program, and candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. U.S. Government ITAR eligibility requirements apply.
Base salary: $141,800–$212,600 USD annually. Total compensation, including equity: $174,300–$269,875 USD annually.

What you will do
- Define and maintain requirements for new RF products, including the Frontier-Lite Radio.
- Design, simulate, prototype, and support fabrication and packaging of RF products and space-grade hardware.
- Develop test plans, procedures, ground support equipment, and production automation.
- Create product documentation, including interface control documents and user manuals.
- Review proposals and requirements, assess compliance, and scope development activities for new capabilities.
- Support engineering reviews, customer technical questions, anomaly troubleshooting, and new product introduction with test and manufacturing engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, RF communications, or another engineering discipline, plus 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Fundamental RF knowledge, including cascaded device analysis, link budget analysis, and HFSS.
- Experience developing and delivering RF products from requirements assessment and engineering prototypes through space-qualified production.
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of RF communications, navigation systems, and related components.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance is necessary.
- Eligibility for applicable U.S. ITAR authorizations is required for work in U.S. offices.
Nice to have
- Experience with space-grade board design, component selection, performance simulation, and circuit analyses.
- Experience designing, integrating, and testing RF communications systems for launch vehicles or satellites.
- Experience leading complex engineering programs and producing associated documentation.
- People management, incident management, investigation, conflict resolution, or project management experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with effective communication.
