TL;DR
Module Development Engineer - RF Test (Analog/RF Test): Developing and releasing test solutions for analog and RF integrated circuits across feasibility, product development, and production ramp with an accent on testability, manufacturability, ATE correlation, and device characterization. Focus on designing RF test boards, debugging advanced test equipment software, resolving functionality and performance issues, and optimizing yield, thermal control, and power binning.

Location: Onsite in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. U.S. citizenship is required, and the role supports U.S. government customers subject to citizenship-based restrictions.

Annual salary: $155,520–$219,550 USD.

What you will do

  • Develop testability and manufacturability strategies for analog and RF products.
  • Design RF test boards with suppliers and collaborate with customers on production-test optimization.
  • Develop and debug software for BERTs, oscilloscopes, and automatic test equipment.
  • Perform ATE-to-design-verification correlation, bench characterization, and analog IP evaluation.
  • Debug functionality and performance issues with design and product-development teams.
  • Release production test solutions and optimize product quality, yield, thermal control, and power binning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years, master’s degree with 3+ years, or PhD in electrical engineering or a related STEM field with experience in RF design and test.
  • 2+ years of IC test experience and experience with ATE testing, test methodology, electronics design, or product development.
  • 2+ years of experience with mixed-signal oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, or TDRs.
  • 2+ years of experience with HFSS, ADS, or PowerSI electrical simulation tools.
  • 3+ years of board-design experience using Cadence Allegro.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access are required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of digital, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed testing and tester hardware design.
  • Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
