Lead Production Associate (Manufacturing)

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida, United States — plant-based, second shift

What you will do

• Operate and oversee 5–8 pieces of production equipment, including material picking, weighing, batching, and machine startup.
• Ensure raw materials, formulas, samples, and finished products meet quality requirements.
• Train new employees, provide direction on the production floor, balance workloads, and act as supervisor when needed.
• Prepare materials and shift summary reports covering productivity, downtime, and quality concerns.
• Maintain inventory records, close work orders, and update orders based on material availability.
• Coordinate equipment and material maintenance needs and maintain a clean, safe worksite.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of plant experience.
• Proficiency with plant equipment or equivalent work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for formulas and weights and interpret orders and directions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, lift or carry at least 60 pounds, push or pull 55 pounds, and perform extended standing, bending, squatting, climbing, and crawling.
