Senior Construction Project Manager

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; approximately 4–5 days of on-site support required based on client needs.

Salary: $135,000–$170,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional compensation may include bonuses, 401(k) matching up to 8%, and benefits.

What you will do

• Execute multi-phased construction projects while managing client expectations and changing project demands.
• Oversee construction, design management, contract management, project communications, and field progress.
• Analyze schedules, monitor quality control, and identify project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate strategic planning, budgeting, procurement, execution, monitoring, and project closeout.
• Prepare project documentation and track invoices, purchase orders, financial commitments, and obligations.
• Represent client interests in disputes, disagreements, modifications, and change orders while maintaining industry relationships.

Requirements

• 6+ years of construction project management experience and thorough knowledge of building design and construction processes.
• Experience with base building, commercial, cultural, life sciences, corporate fit-out, developer, or site construction projects.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in construction management, business, architecture, civil, structural, or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project or Primavera P6, Adobe Acrobat or comparable PDF tools, and Procore or equivalent project management platforms.
