Senior Project Manager/OAR (Education Construction)

Location: West Seventh Street, Los Angeles, California; full-time, onsite role.

Compensation: $143,435.23–$163,925.98 per year.

hirify.global is hiring for an education construction project leadership role covering institutional facilities and campus programs.

What you will do

• Lead project development, pre-construction planning, scope definition, phasing strategies, and budgeting for classrooms, laboratories, libraries, residence halls, and athletic facilities.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, campus planners, facilities teams, academic stakeholders, and operations throughout design and delivery.
• Manage RFPs, procurement, contract negotiations, and CM-at-Risk or Design-Build delivery methods.
• Maintain integrated schedules and budgets, control costs and change orders, manage risks, and coordinate funding approvals.
• Direct construction execution, QA/QC, safety compliance, public meetings, and stakeholder engagement on active education sites.
• Manage commissioning, punch lists, turnover before academic terms, and warranty tracking through closeout.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in education or institutional construction.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project, Procore, and BIM workflows.
• Experience with CM-at-Risk and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles, California.

Nice to have

• PMP or CCM certification.
• LEED accreditation.
• OSHA-30 certification.
