Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; ability to travel and work in various climate conditions required

Estimated pay: $104,000–$172,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage assigned construction projects or designated components of complex projects, generally up to $15 million.
• Lead project teams with the Superintendent and coordinate owners, architects, design teams, trade contractors, and suppliers.
• Manage schedules, submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, ASIs, change orders, procurement, quality, and closeout activities.
• Review constructability, cost feasibility, risk assessments, scopes of work, bids, and contract language during pre-construction.
• Control project budgets, cost codes, cash flow, payment applications, lien waivers, cost projections, and profitability analysis.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality management programs, including the Incident and Injury Free culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of experience running construction projects valued above $5 million; or an associate’s degree in construction management with 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, project management software, value engineering, life cycle costing, and project profit and cost processes.
• Experience with multiple contract types and CMR and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Current or ability to become current with OSHA 30 and company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel, work in sometimes extreme climate conditions, communicate with diverse audiences, and drive operational and financial accountability.
• Demonstrated integrity, ethical standards, leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, and construction quality achievement.

Nice to have

• Experience with Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, Bluebeam, and other construction software.
