TL;DR
Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator (Energy): Conducting job-site visits, HSE audits, incident investigations, emergency response, safety meetings, training, and new-hire orientations across energy infrastructure projects with an accent on oil and gas safety, regulatory compliance, and field operations. Focus on investigating incidents, communicating HSE programs, supporting substation construction, and working through demanding 30-days-on/10-days-off rotations with up to 100% travel.

Location: Augusta, Georgia, with up to 100% travel to projects across the United States. The role requires a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and 30 days on/10 days off rotations.

What you will do

  • Visit project job sites and conduct HSE audits.
  • Investigate incidents and support emergency response activities.
  • Assist operations with compliance and implementation of HSE programs.
  • Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and new-hire orientations.
  • Travel to energy infrastructure projects across the United States.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a safety role and 5 years of experience in the oil or gas industry.
  • Valid driver license for the vehicles operated and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 100% across the United States.
  • Availability for 30 days on and 10 days off rotations, including nights and weekends.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience building substations.
  • Board of Certified Safety Professionals and/or Certified Utility Safety Professional credentials.
