Corporate HSE Manager (Health, Safety and Environmental)

What you will do

• Lead, hire, train, and develop HSE team members while providing performance feedback and managing team decisions.
• Coordinate HSE support and coverage with department leaders across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and industry-specific health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, near misses, and environmental events; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees, supervisors, and contractors.
• Maintain emergency response planning and preparedness training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field, plus 3–5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
• At least 3 years of experience in a safety role or related industry.
• OSHA 500 certification.
• Valid driver’s license for applicable vehicles and an acceptable driving record.
• Strong organization, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• CUSP, CHST, or another applicable HSE certification.
• Root-cause investigation certification.
• ET&D 10-hour and 20-hour training or trainer qualification.
