Safety Coordinator (Bilingual)

Location: Midlothian, Virginia, United States; frequent weekly travel to job sites is required.

What you will do

• Lead onboarding, training, and performance oversight for Safety Team members and field personnel.
• Conduct job site audits and inspections, identify hazards, and communicate findings to project and branch leadership.
• Investigate workplace incidents, gather evidence, complete documentation, and coordinate corrective or medical actions.
• Maintain OSHA logs, safety records, audit documentation, and emergency response readiness.
• Train and certify equipment operators, audit performance, and enforce PPE and safety requirements.
• Partner with field teams, project managers, HR, and executive leadership to integrate safety into project planning and execution.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of construction safety experience, preferably in field or project-based environments.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and other applicable safety regulations.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and workplace incident investigations.
• English and Spanish bilingual proficiency is required.
• Ability to work independently across multiple dynamic construction projects, travel frequently to job sites, wear PPE, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• CSP, CHST, or similar safety credentials.
