BES Business Group Data Steward (Building Engineering Services)

Location: United States or Canada, with available locations including Omaha, Charlotte, Austin, Bellevue, Kansas City, Boston, Denver, Pennington, Nashville, New York, Houston, Irvine, Toronto, Phoenix, Walnut Creek, Orlando, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boise, Minneapolis, Raleigh, Seattle, Pittsburgh, San Antonio, Dallas, Arlington, and Columbus.

Expected compensation: $150,000–$200,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Establish and coordinate a network of subject matter experts across the Building Engineering Services Business Group.
• Develop and maintain business-aligned definitions for engineering and technical data.
• Build consensus around data processes, priorities, standards, access, quality, formats, and reuse.
• Support governance of externally sourced datasets, including approvals, inventories, storage, and lifecycle considerations.
• Lead change management and promote data fluency and adoption of data standards and tools.
• Align data workflows and new tools with BES strategy while collaborating with enterprise data and technology teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Ability to collaborate with leaders, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers.
• Strong data fluency, technical credibility, communication skills, and the ability to drive consensus.
• Established leadership experience is expected; this is not an early-career or learning-assignment role.
