Data Engineer

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; Workplace: On-site

Salary: $97,000–$181,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain core data infrastructure and automated end-to-end pipelines.
• Ingest, process, store, and transform data for analytics and other consumers.
• Create and maintain data models, schemas, storage solutions, and transformation logic.
• Implement data quality checks, validation procedures, and data lineage tracking.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and improve the scalability, reliability, and security of the data platform.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and security teams; document data architecture and participate in data governance.

Requirements

• Secret security clearance required.
• Junior: 0–3 years of experience and a bachelor's degree; Journeyman: 4–7 years; Senior: 8+ years.
• Cloud+, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP certification for Junior/Journeyman roles.
• SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CCSP, or CISSP certification for Senior roles.
• Professional English proficiency, strong communication skills, a self-starter mindset, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must currently be authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
