Senior Associate, Data Governance & Master Data Management

Location: Toronto, Canada

Salary: CAD 79,000–136,700 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Deliver data governance engagements by defining governance programs and designing MDM solutions.
• Support the design and implementation of data governance frameworks and master data management solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional governance and MDM artifacts.
• Connect governance and MDM capabilities with analytics, reporting, data platforms, integration pipelines, and downstream operational and AI use cases.
• Collaborate with consultants across regions and practices, working effectively in virtual teams and independently.
• Travel as required for client and engagement needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree emphasizing mathematics, computer science, information systems, or business.
• At least three years of related experience.
• Experience with Informatica MDM, Reltio, or Boomi.
• Experience supporting data governance and MDM initiatives across one or more domains.
• Conceptual understanding of at least two areas including data ownership and stewardship, data quality, metadata management, data standards and policies, master data definitions, data hierarchies, or golden records.
• Strong business and financial acumen, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to data quality, data catalog, or MDM tools.
• Previous consulting experience.
• Working knowledge of data architecture.
• CDMP, ADGP, or another relevant training or certification.
