Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across facilities and local sourcing categories, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes.
• Develop commodity strategies based on total cost of ownership, market intelligence, supplier capabilities, risk, and business requirements.
• Lead complex contract negotiations, supplier business reviews, performance scorecards, and contract implementation with legal and business stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional teams across regions and health ministries to drive standardization, cost reduction, service quality, and best-practice replication.
• Collect and analyze large datasets, create dashboards and reports, and provide actionable recommendations using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Set priorities for the sourcing team, manage direct reports, validate savings with Finance, and oversee complex sourcing projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, supply chain management, a related clinical discipline, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible experience in a multi-entity, multi-level organization.
• Leadership experience and the ability to lead sourcing professionals, cross-functional teams, and complex projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement practices, contract portfolios, supplier relationships, market analysis, and contract law.
• Advanced analytical capabilities, including cost analysis, total cost of ownership, forecasting, risk evaluation, data visualization, and business intelligence.
• Strong negotiation, communication, planning, project management, conflict resolution, and stakeholder relationship skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Healthcare industry experience.
• Advanced proficiency in data visualization, statistical analysis, and business intelligence tools.
