Procurement Manager - Vendor/Supplier Sourcing (Strategic Sourcing)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid work from the San Francisco office three days per week.

Salary: $119,050–$150,000 per year in California.

What you will do

• Prepare and issue RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs with business stakeholders.
• Analyze supplier quotes, total cost of ownership, spend by vendor and category, and regional procurement trends.
• Help build global sourcing strategies across direct and indirect procurement categories.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reports using Tableau and Excel.
• Lead supplier engagement, competitive bidding, contract negotiations, and contract management with legal.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather requirements and ensure supplier compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, data analytics, finance, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in supplier or vendor procurement, strategic sourcing, or procurement analytics across multiple categories.
• Experience leading end-to-end contract negotiations.
• Experience managing at least $10 million in annual spend.
• Advanced analytical, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
• No immigration sponsorship or transfer is available for this role.

Nice to have

• Expertise in vendor sourcing methodologies, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
• Experience with procurement ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel or Sheets modeling and Tableau proficiency.
• Experience transitioning into people management or leading cross-functional initiatives.
