Project Superintendent

What you will do

• Represent hirify.global at the project site and establish expectations for safety, quality, housekeeping, conduct, and general site operations.
• Review conceptual, schematic, and design development documents for constructability, phasing, temporary protection, site logistics, and field construction issues.
• Develop project-specific safety programs, investigate incidents, address violations, and promote a safe culture among project participants.
• Plan site logistics, including traffic patterns, equipment locations, storage, and staging.
• Coordinate the Project Manager, client, trade contractors, work plans, progress meetings, permits, inspections, and trade contract schedules.
• Oversee technical interpretation of drawings and specifications, quality coordination, submittals, punch lists, and authorization of time-and-material work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least five years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role as a Foreman or Superintendent.
• Training or completed classes in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.
• Ability to plan and manage work activities, recognize safety concerns, and coordinate tools, methods, materials, and trade divisions.
• Strong written communication, problem-solving, risk-management, and collaboration skills.
