Technical Program Manager (Finance)

Location: Washington, DC; in-office requirement of 4 days per week

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 annual base salary, plus benefits and potential annual discretionary incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Coordinate the Finance Technology portfolio across fund accounting, firm accounting, legal entity management, global payments, treasury and cash management, and finance reporting.
• Track priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, resources, budgets, action items, and delivery outcomes across workstreams.
• Define product roadmaps aligned with Finance leadership priorities and identify opportunities for technology, automation, and AI improvements.
• Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple initiatives and promote agile practices including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Partner with leadership, Business Analysts, engineering teams, finance stakeholders, vendors, and external delivery partners.
• Apply accounting and finance systems knowledge to improve processes and ensure solutions are operationally sustainable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting, finance, information systems, or a related concentration preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in program management, product management, operations, or business analysis within financial services or enterprise technology.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, fund accounting, accounts payable/receivable, billing, treasury operations, and financial close.
• Experience with finance and accounting platforms such as Investran, Geneva, PeopleSoft, Workday Financials, Anaplan, or similar.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives, managing budgets and vendors, and mentoring Business Analysts or junior team members.
• Strong executive communication, organization, financial acumen, and demonstrated use of AI tools to improve productivity.

Nice to have

• Private equity or alternative asset management experience.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Power BI, Sigma Computing, or similar data and reporting tools.
