Senior Program Manager, Global Finance Systems Process (AI)

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; onsite

Annual base pay: $130,000–$150,000, plus potential benefits and performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Translate Finance business process needs into documented functional requirements and IT specifications.
• Act as the Finance-to-IT liaison by evaluating solutions, facilitating sign-off, and leading issue triage.
• Lead Finance user acceptance testing, change management, and end-user adoption across global markets.
• Advance Finance process standardization, continuous improvement, segregation of duties, and access governance.
• Identify and advance agentic AI and RPA opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.
• Monitor and resolve Finance systems issues during month-end and quarter-end close.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Finance Systems, or an equivalent field.
• 10+ years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience in a complex multinational environment.
• 10+ years of hands-on Oracle, SAP, or comparable ERP experience as a Finance process owner or power user.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end Finance processes, including record to report, quote to cash, and procure to pay, with the ability to assess processes against US GAAP.
• Strong program management, root cause analysis, stakeholder influence, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours when needed, handle frequent interruptions, and travel as required.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of agentic AI and RPA tools in Finance.
• Experience in consumer products, sporting goods, retail, branded goods, private companies, or PE-backed environments.
• Direct Finance-side participation in ERP implementations.
