Manager, Maintenance (Manufacturing)

Location: Neenah, Wisconsin, United States; primarily based in a production and/or warehouse setting with occasional travel.

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day operations, costs, scheduling, timekeeping, and contractor-performed work of the maintenance department.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance and engineering strategies to improve equipment reliability, availability, and asset longevity.
• Design, budget, schedule, and manage capital projects, including equipment feasibility studies, supplier selection, acquisition, and installation.
• Track maintenance performance metrics, work order completion, budgets, payback expectations, and compliance with the work order platform.
• Partner with Operations and cross-functional leaders on continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Provide technical support for equipment reliability issues and guidance on staffing, training, employee relations, and performance management.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree desired.
• At least 6 years of maintenance experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Industrial electrical maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, logistics, and manufacturing equipment, including safe operation, maintenance, and storage.
• Knowledge of manufacturing facility operations, infrastructure, worker protection, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Frequent walking and standing, occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs., and availability to fill in on any shift during staffing shortages, emergencies, or critical business events.
