TL;DR
IT Enablement Coordinator (IT Operations and Vendor Management): Coordinating IT onboarding, training, budgeting, forecasting, vendor relationships, and employee experience with an accent on supplier performance, financial accuracy, and compliance. Focus on managing SLAs, SOWs, contracts, headcount planning, and cross-functional alignment with HR, Finance, Legal, vendors, and IT leadership.

Location: Alameda, California, United States; on-site. Willingness and ability to work on site is required. Business travel may be required at 0–5%.

Base pay range: $38.00–$49.00 per hour.

What you will do

  • Coordinate and improve IT new-hire onboarding, including required information, equipment, system access, workspace allocation, introductions, and welcome activities.
  • Organize and support IT employee training, onboarding sessions, All Hands meetings, strategy and planning meetings, and cross-functional alignment meetings.
  • Track IT headcount growth, hiring, internal spend, budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving opportunities in partnership with HR and senior IT management.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, service-level agreements, schedules, reporting, invoicing, projects, project costs, and statements of work.
  • Support software and hardware contract negotiations and proactively manage supplier performance and process improvements.
  • Partner with IT, HR, Finance, Legal, vendors, and business stakeholders to support financial, performance, risk, compliance, security, privacy, and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Business, or a related field with 3+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with vendor management practices and managing budgets and resources.
  • Strong analytical, financial, vendor management, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with external vendors, Legal, Finance, technology teams, and lines of business in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for analyses, presentations, documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work on site and move between buildings and floors; occasional lifting and moving of up to 15 pounds may be required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in purchasing, accounts payable, accounting, or administrative roles.
  • Experience with IT procurement, including equipment, software licenses, support contracts, and services.
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or another regulated industry.
