Senior Benefits Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Remote-MO; candidates must reside in the CST or EST time zones

Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year

What you will do

• Research, design, analyze, evaluate, and administer corporate benefits programs in a large, multi-state employer environment.
• Administer 401(k), health and welfare, wellness, group risk, FSA, PTO, EAP, and executive benefits.
• Support benefit plan research, development, renewals, communications, policy updates, and process standardization.
• Manage carrier and vendor relationships, including RFP analysis and coordination with HRIS vendors.
• Investigate complex benefits issues and resolve eligibility file problems across multiple systems.
• Manage regulatory filings and processes, including 5500s, SARs, audits, and nondiscrimination testing; analyze benefit costs and recommend action plans.

Requirements

• Residence in the CST or EST time zones is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of benefits or finance experience; 8–10 years is preferred.
• Experience in a large-employer environment is required for success in the role.
• Strong data analysis, Excel, audit, reconciliation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Knowledge of benefits administration and concepts such as ACA, ERISA, and HIPAA.

• Experience in healthcare, financial, or professional services.
• Experience with HRIS systems, particularly health and welfare systems.
