Resident Services Manager (Student Housing)

Location: Lark on Main, Charlottesville, Virginia, United States; full-time, on-site at the assigned community. Additional support at other portfolio communities and evening or weekend availability may be required during peak periods, emergencies, and inclement weather.

What you will do

• Lead resident relations, reputation management, complaint resolution, insurance compliance, and community engagement initiatives.
• Manage delinquency notices, financial follow-up, mutual terminations, renewals, and notices to vacate.
• Coordinate crisis management with leadership and emergency services, handling sensitive situations professionally.
• Oversee leasing workflows, lease document generation, immediate move-ins, inspections, unit transfers, and Entrata dashboards.
• Support leasing calls, lead follow-up, local marketing campaigns, social media, and resident events.
• Provide operational coverage for the General Manager and support other portfolio communities when needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in property management, leasing, or resident services.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage crisis situations and sensitive conversations with sound judgment.
• Familiarity with Entrata or similar property management software.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms; eligibility to work in the United States is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
