Testing Support Specialist (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Arlington, Texas, United States — onsite. Moderate travel required (11%–25%).

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Collaborate with Autonomy and Systems Engineering teams to understand validation needs and provide testing support.
• Act as the primary contact for test support and data analysis within the Testing and Validation group.
• Analyze drive data, test new routes, and evaluate autonomy performance.
• Review test vehicle data logs and video captures, tag attributes in Jira, and document issues through trouble tickets.
• Support Driver Out testing through drive-performance documentation, video annotation, best-practice development, and test-data analysis.
• Verify product functionality at May commercial sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• Ability to safely operate test vehicles for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills and empathy for product customers.

Nice to have

• Experience in software support roles.
• Familiarity with Linux Ubuntu.
