QA/Test Engineer (Software QA)

Location: Hybrid role based in Middletown, Rhode Island; must be local to the work location and support the Middletown office.

Salary: $64,842.27–$112,748.12 per year

What you will do

• Test and assure the quality of enterprise business applications.
• Analyze test requirements and develop, identify, and peer review test cases and procedures.
• Perform automated, manual, regression, security, performance, unit, interface, and software/system integration testing.
• Identify functional issues, create clear defect reports, and validate fixes.
• Maintain system requirement baselines and software and system documentation.
• Compile quality metrics by analyzing test results and issue patterns, and support engineering meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technology field.
• Two to five years of QA/Test experience; Department of Defense experience is preferred.
• Ability to participate in an Agile Scrum team and related ceremonies.
• Strong application testing, debugging, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, including communication with remote teammates.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.
