Senior Software Test Engineer (Autonomy & Active Safety)

Location: hirify.global, Wisconsin, United States; regular on-site attendance is required

Pay range: $79,300.00–$126,900.00 annually

What you will do

• Support the design, development, integration, and validation of autonomy, active safety, ADAS, and unmanned ground vehicle control systems.
• Execute vehicle and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing, test plans, investigations, and engineering calculations.
• Develop software tools and use CAN bus simulators, Busmaster, Visual Studio, MagicDraw, and related engineering tools.
• Write system requirements, design documentation, test reports, and proposal materials.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, assess vehicle operation and maintenance risks, and provide validation data to design teams.
• Collaborate with internal engineering disciplines and external suppliers, including support for off-site test programs and occasional travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Three or more years of related engineering experience.
• Understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements development, verification, and traceability.
• Experience with software development cycles and software validation.
• Ability to work on-site in hirify.global, Wisconsin.
• Ability to communicate technical information, interpret engineering and safety documentation, and prepare routine reports.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and validating autonomy, active safety, ADAS, or unmanned vehicle systems.
• Experience with CAN-based diagnostic and analysis tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, or Vehicle Spy.
