Application Engineer I/II/Sr (HVAC)

Location: Minneapolis, MN, United States. Hybrid role requiring three days in the office per week following an onsite training period; occasional travel for onsite support and offsite customer training may be required.

Starting base pay: $77,235–$130,485 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.

What you will do

• Provide technical support by phone and email for product selection and application questions from internal and external salespeople.
• Develop solutions, special product designs, and pricing for unique applications.
• Gather information and resolve complex field problems, including providing onsite support when needed.
• Apply industry codes and standards to determine product needs and requirements.
• Communicate product selling points, identify process improvements and competitor opportunities, and document service calls and field issues.
• Develop and deliver training for internal and external customers, support industry events, and build relationships across the representative network and sales channel.

Requirements

• Application Engineer I: 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Application Engineer II: 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Application Engineer Sr: 6–9 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Two-year associate degree in engineering or equivalent job experience required.
• Four-year bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work in the Minneapolis office three days per week after onsite training, with occasional onsite travel.
