Product Support Engineer (Building Services)

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States. Hybrid schedule with onsite work Monday through Thursday and flexibility to choose the work location on Fridays; travel to sales offices, corporate events, and customer sites is required.

Annual base salary: $75,700–$135,834.99.

What you will do

• Provide technical, marketing, and sales support for Trane’s chiller portfolio and service sales organization.
• Support product selection, pricing, quotations, bid strategies, equipment configuration, and customer discussions.
• Develop product selling stories, marketing materials, promotional content, technical content, and sales tools.
• Advise on HVAC electrification and decarbonization solutions that improve energy efficiency and reliability.
• Analyze competitor products and strategies and communicate findings to field sales and internal teams.
• Participate in new product development, software requirements, cross-functional problem-solving, customer visits, presentations, and training new service sales engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant industry experience.
• 2+ years of engineering-related work experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel independently up to 10% of the time.
• Strong decision-making, interpersonal, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with PC applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and cloud-based selection software.
