TL;DR
Electrical Engineer (Industrial Automation): Designing and developing electrical architectures, control systems, and automation solutions for industrial dispensing equipment with an accent on PLC/HMI applications, machine integration, and product validation. Focus on integrating sensors, heaters, motors, valves, and communication devices, troubleshooting complex control issues, and supporting compliance with CE and UL standards.

What you will do

  • Design electrical architectures, control systems, and automation solutions for new product development.
  • Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
  • Develop, program, test, and optimize PLC and HMI applications for industrial dispensing equipment.
  • Integrate sensors, heaters, motors, valves, and communication devices into complete machine control systems.
  • Support prototype builds, verification, validation testing, design reviews, and system-level integration.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and contribute to product improvement and cost-reduction projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, automation, controls engineering, or industrial equipment development.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical design and control systems, including PID temperature controls, solenoid valves, sensors, and motor control systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, preferably with Siemens or Mitsubishi, and experience developing HMI applications.
  • Experience with EPLAN Electric P8 and/or AutoCAD Electrical; ability to read and develop technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Ability to work with English-language engineering documentation.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of circuit design, PCB fundamentals, and industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, or CAN.
  • Experience with CE compliance, machinery safety standards, SAP or SAP C4C.
  • Knowledge of adhesive dispensing, fluid handling, or precision motion control systems.
  • Experience working in product development, R&D, or multinational engineering organizations.
